Bashundhara Tissue Industries Ltd. is a promising Enterprise of Bashundhara Group of Companies established at Anarpura, Gazaria under Munshigonj district 35 km east of Dhaka City by the side of Dhaka Chittagong highway for manufacturing Soft and Hard Tissue paper, Cigarette paper and Bidi paper along with various types of specialized papers which have great demand in local as well as in international markets.
BTIL consists of Two Paper manufacturing plant with required utility and service equipment. Paper Machine-01 mainly produce Soft and Hard Tissue paper whereas main products of Paper Machine-02 are Local Cigarette paper (Bidi paper) and Plug wrap paper. Based on 3 shift operation, each of 8 (eight) hours per day and 300 working days in a year the capacity of two paper machines are following:

The main Raw materials are Virgin pulp, and Sometime small quantity of secondary fiber and different types of chemicals (local and imported) . For the production of special paper specific high quality imported chemicals are used.
The factory has started its commercial production of Tissue paper in June 1st, 1999. The factory has started its commercial production of Cigarette paper & Cock tip in February 1st, 2000.
Sanitary Napkin is the new product of Bashundhara Tissue Industries Ltd. Sanitary Napkin Machine parameter is given below.

Waste rate: max 3% of product / raw materials
Production speed (1) : up to 800 pieces / min = production capacity: Up to 32, 00, 00 pieces / 8 HR shift for unfolded products.
Production speed (2) : up to 500 pieces / min = production capacity: Up to 20, 00, 00 pieces / 8 HR shift for 3-unfolded, individual packed from and also continues form.
