Our company Sun-Scan Woodbase was setup in 1955 to provide Veneer services to the furniture manufacturers in Malaysia and Overseas market. Our factory is currently located at KG. Baru Subang Industrial Estate in Selangor, KL. There are 2 lamination lines that could generate large quantities of laminated boards per day.
We specialized in panel length (4' x 8') and cut-to-size (boards) laminations. Veneers popularly used are Okoume, Walnut, Cherry, Sapele, Red Oak, White Oak, Maple, Steamed Beech, Eastern Knotty Pine, Yellow Pine, American Ash, Koto, Birch, Hickory, Anegre, Zebrano, Teak, Burl, Parquetry and some other local species like Nyatoh, KSK or Ramin and all kind of China veneer like China Maple, China Cherry and China Birch.
Our veneers are usually 0. 40-0. 60mm in thickness and are laminated on Medium Density Fireboards (E2 Standard) , Particleboards (Chipboard) or plywood at various thickness ranging from 3. 0mm to 30mm. (Inclusive of MDF BOARD and PARTICLE BOARD)
99% of our products are produced for furniture manufacturers that export their finished products to USA, Europe, Middle, China, Japan, Korea and also to Australia and South America.
